This album is being released to accompany Funkhouser’s first solo exhibition, Study in Place. It features work that centers on his recently constructed cristal baschet. Building the instrument took about 14 months and many revisions before reaching the sounds heard on the record. This music also serves as the soundtrack for an upcoming documentary on Deathwave TV.
